Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be among the top gymnasts. At the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at one Games and she was the first gymnast to win three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles is a native of Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. They were raised in the metropolitan areas of Houston. Simone was first introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare instructor Aimee Borman when she was 6 years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles was awarded a gold medal in floor exercise and a bronze in vault during the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the elite competition in the year 2011. She was the most dominant in her sport within a mere two years. Biles's consistency, her exuberant character and her high level of effort for her four events- vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise as well as floor exercise -- made her above the others.
